Old Tbilisi:

  • Abanotubani — Tbilisi's legendary sulfur bath district, unlike anywhere else in the world

  • Anchiskhati Church — the oldest surviving structure in Tbilisi, dating back to the 5th century

  • Meidan Square (Vakhtang Gorgasali Square) — the historic beating heart of the city

  • Shardeni Street — Tbilisi's most charming pedestrian street, lined with cafes and galleries

New Tbilisi:

  • Metekhi Church — a dramatic clifftop church overlooking the Mtkvari River

  • Freedom Square — the center of Georgia's political and civic life

  • Gabriadze Puppet Theater — a beloved Tbilisi cultural landmark

  • Rike Park — a futuristic riverside park with modern architecture

  • Bridge of Peace — Tbilisi's iconic glass-and-steel footbridge, perfect for photography

Day 2 — Mtskheta, Gori & Uplistsikhe (09:00 – 19:00)

A full-day journey through some of Georgia's most important historical sites, from ancient cave cities to sacred UNESCO-listed cathedrals.

  • Jvari Monastery (6th–7th century) — one of Georgia's oldest and most visited churches, dramatically set above the meeting point of the Aragvi and Kura rivers. Immortalized in Mikhail Lermontov's famous poem "Mtsyri". A UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, Mtskheta — Georgia's holiest cathedral, believed to house the burial robe of Christ and relics of Saint Andrew the Apostle. The spiritual center of the Georgian Orthodox Church and another UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • Stalin Museum, Gori — the birthplace of Joseph Stalin. Explore his childhood home, personal belongings, and the story of one of the 20th century's most powerful and controversial figures.

  • Uplistsikhe Ancient Cave City — one of the earliest urban settlements in Georgia, carved into rock over 3,000–5,000 years ago. An extraordinary open-air archaeological site unlike anything else in the Caucasus.

Day 3 — Vardzia, Rabati Fortress & Borjomi (07:00 – 22:00)

Head deep into southern Georgia for a day combining medieval wonders and a world-famous mineral water resort.

  • Vardzia Cave Monastery — Georgia's most spectacular cave complex, founded in the 12th century by the legendary Queen Tamar. Once home to approximately 20,000 people, this underground city features 13 floors, 600+ rooms, tunnels, churches, libraries, wine cellars, and an ancient water supply system. One of the top historical attractions in Georgia.

  • Rabati Fortress, Akhaltsikhe — Georgia's largest fortress, originally built in the 9th century and beautifully restored. Wander through its palace, medieval towers, fountains, inner courtyards, and labyrinth garden — a blend of Georgian, Ottoman, and European architecture.

  • Borjomi — Georgia's most famous resort town, known worldwide for its natural mineral springs. Stroll along the Mtkvari River, taste Borjomi mineral water directly from the source, and soak in the atmosphere of this elegant 19th-century spa town.

Day 4 — Kakheti Wine Tour: Manavi, Signagi, Bodbe & Wine Tasting (09:00 – 20:00)

Discover Kakheti — Georgia's most celebrated wine region, with over 8,000 years of winemaking tradition and some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Caucasus.

  • Manavi Village — your introduction to authentic Georgian wine culture. Taste homemade wine, chacha, and traditional snacks, and make your own churchkhela (a beloved Georgian walnut-and-grape sweet) with your own hands.

  • Badiauri Village — watch traditional Georgian "Mother's Bread" being baked in an ancient clay oven, and sample a selection of famous local cheeses.

  • Signagi — "The City of Love" — a beautifully preserved hilltop town with a 17th-century fortress, cobblestone streets, and sweeping panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. One of the most photographed towns in Georgia.

  • Bodbe Monastery — the sacred resting place of Saint Nino, the woman who brought Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Set amid lush gardens with views over the valley.

  • Saint Nino's Holy Spring — a pilgrimage site of deep spiritual significance to Georgians and visitors alike.

  • Premium Qvevri Wine Tasting — taste premium Georgian wines poured directly from a traditional qvevri (ancient clay vessel) at a local cellar. Complimentary and included in the tour price.

Day 5 — Martvili Canyon & Prometheus Cave (07:00 – 22:00)

A day dedicated to Georgia's most dramatic natural wonders — underground cave systems and a breathtaking river canyon in western Georgia.

  • Prometheus Cave — the largest cave in Georgia and one of the most impressive in the entire Caucasus. Explore a magical underground world of stalactites, stalagmites, underground waterfalls, lakes, and rivers, all dramatically lit with multicolored lighting that transforms the cave into a truly otherworldly experience. One of Georgia's top natural attractions.

  • Martvili Canyon — a stunning natural canyon near the town of Martvili, where you can walk the cliff-edge trails and take a boat ride along the turquoise river flowing through the canyon below. A rare "two-in-one" attraction — breathtaking views both from above and from the water.

Day 6 — Kazbegi, Ananuri & Gudauri Mountain Tour (09:00 – 20:00)

The most iconic day trip from Tbilisi — a scenic drive along the Georgian Military Road through the Greater Caucasus Mountains to Stepantsminda (Kazbegi).

  • Zhinvali Reservoir — a stunning turquoise mountain lake, ideal for photos on the drive north

  • Ananuri Fortress — one of Georgia's most visited and photographed medieval castles, perched dramatically above the reservoir

  • Pasanauri — witness the remarkable natural phenomenon where the Black and White Aragvi rivers flow side by side without mixing. Taste traditional mountain honey and chacha.

  • Gudauri Ski Resort — Georgia's most popular mountain resort, with sweeping views of the high Caucasus peaks

  • Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument — an iconic Soviet-era viewpoint with panoramic views across the mountain range

  • Travertine Rock (spring and summer only) — taste cold natural mineral water flowing straight from the mountainside

  • Stepantsminda (Kazbegi) — a highland village at the foot of the mighty Mount Kazbek (5,033 m), one of the highest peaks in the Caucasus
